Polymer pipework specialist, REHAU is all set to attend the Modular Matters conference and exhibition at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham this October.
Modular Matters is a one-day conference and exhibition that creates a platform for construction clients and their professional advisers to explore the latest advances in volumetric modular technology. It provides attendees with a dynamic and interactive learning experience on all modular matters in the industry today.
This event is aimed at attracting a varied group of professionals involved in the sector including construction clients, architects, technologists, designers, surveyors’, manufacturers and suppliers and more. It further aims to engage with industry pioneers from within the offsite-supply chain industry.
This year, REHAU will be exhibiting a range of its products that can be used for easy and efficient installation in modular and offsite properties.
Exhibited at the event will be REHAU’s flexible PE-Xa RAUTITAN heating and plumbing system which delivers on durability, corrosion resistance and ease of installation. It is fully WRAS certified as it is hygienic for drinking water and its smooth surface prevents deposits forming while cavity-free impermeable joints eliminate the risk of microbial contamination. RAUTITAN is also suitable for radiator connections and can be used for installations through the floor, skirting board or wall.
Also on stand will be REHAU’s two pre-insulated pipe ranges – RAUVITHERM and RAUTHERMEX. Both pipes are suitable for use in district heating, biomass, biogas and heat pump applications. RAUVITHERM is the only PE-Xa district heating pipe manufactured in the UK.
RAUTHERMEX is suited to a variety of low carbon heat installations and features high performance PU foam, which makes it ideal for large district heating installations.
REHAU will also be featuring its brand-new acoustic soil and waste solution – RAUPIANO which has recently been launched into the UK market. The RAUPIANO product offers a patented structure, 17dB acoustic performance, is heat and impact resistant, chemical resistant and pressure resistant to 2-bar.
Drew Clough from REHAU said: “When it comes to building new homes in the UK, we are experiencing a drastic shortfall. Today, there is a need for faster and smarter construction and modular offsite construction is becoming more popular amongst new and existing house builders.
“Modular Matters is a great platform to meet with other industry professional to discuss and demonstrate how to tackle industry challenges with innovative products and is also a good opportunity for us to understand what the future of the construction industry is set to look like.”
Modular Matters will take place on 30th October from 8.30 am at the NEC in Birmingham.
