Local uPVC window and door manufacturer REHAU is sponsoring Blaenau Amateurs FC for their 2017/18 campaign, as the team sets out to make a big impact in the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance League Division Two.
Based in Blaenau Ffestiniog, REHAU is one of the nation’s leading suppliers of uPVC windows and doors. 95 per cent of all of the windows and doors the company sells in the UK are manufactured in the town.
As a major employer in Blaenau, REHAU is keen to support the local community where possible. So when Blaenau Amateurs FC put out an appeal for sponsors, REHAU answered the call, donating funds for new team polo shirts, training bibs and match balls.
Martin Klingenberg from REHAU said: “We have had a presence in Blaenau for 39 years, employing hundreds of local people from the town and surrounding areas. With such strong ties to the area, we feel very much a part of the community so we try to give a little something back when we can. We wish Blaenau Amateurs FC every success in the new season, and will be cheering them on all the way!”
Andrew Roberts from Blaenau Amateurs Football Club said: “We are very excited to partner with REHAU. As a sports club from Blaenau Ffestiniog, we value having a strong partner from the same area on our side. This sponsorship gives us confidence and motivates us even more to succeed in the upcoming season.”
