The Ross-on-Wye Carnival has a brand new website to promote and celebrate this year’s much anticipated event thanks to funding from local sponsor REHAU.
Ross-on-Wye-based REHAU, the UK’s leading supplier of uPVC windows and doors, is one of the main sponsors of the annual carnival this year, which will be held on Saturday 5 August 2017.
Understanding the importance of having a bright and engaging website to generate interest in the Carnival and share event information with visitors and organisers, REHAU donated the money needed get a new website designed. The result is a colourful and user-friendly online guide to the event and its rich 40-year history.
Jo Trotman, Marketing Communications Manager from REHAU said: “The Ross-on-Wye Carnival relies on the generosity of local businesses to help make it unforgettable for the thousands of people who come along every year to enjoy the festivities. As a part of the local community in Ross-on-Wye, we wanted to ensure we were doing our bit to keep the Carnival spirit alive this August and offered to donate the funds needed for a new website. We know from our own business activities that online marketing is a hugely important way of sharing information with people, and are pleased that we’ve been able to help Carnival organisers spread the word online.”
As a main sponsor, REHAU has also donated a first prize of an iPad Mini2 for the popular Colouring in Competition, and will also be taking part in judging the entries. The winning design will be used on the front page of the Carnival programme.
