75 years of Feuchtwangen 2: a plant shaped REHAU history

With an employee party, REHAU Industrial Solutions honored the development of the Feuchtwangen 2 plant – and above all the people who have shaped the site since 1951.

75 years of success, innovation and passion: On June 11, 2026, the Feuchtwangen 2 plant celebrated a special anniversary. In their welcoming remarks, Christoph Kolb, Plant Manager Feuchtwangen 2, and Christian Wunderlich, CFO REHAU Industrial Solutions, placed one thing above all at the center: the employees who have shaped and continuously developed the site over the decades, making it what it is today.

What began in 1951 in a former small paint factory is now a globally significant production plant in polymer manufacturing. The start was modest: one extruder, five employees and around 1,200 square meters of operating space.

Today, more than 300 employees work in over 24 production areas on a site covering around 27,000 square meters. Feuchtwangen 2 thus stands as an example of the successful journey from a small production site to a modern plant with a high level of technical expertise and a broad product portfolio.

People at the center

A great developlement has been achieved at Feuchtwangen 2 since 1951. Generations of employees have contributed their craftsmanship, technical understanding, perseverance and team spirit to help turn the first production steps into a site that continues to stand for experience, quality and innovative strength today.

Today, the plant manufactures products and systems for demanding industries such as aviation and rail, as well as highly specialized profiles and hoses. The development of the site is therefore inseparably linked to the commitment of the people who take responsibility here every day.

An anniversary full of appreciation

The 75th anniversary was celebrated with an employee event that many guests will remember for a long time to come. The focus was on coming together, exchanging ideas, enjoying the moment – and, of course, celebrating.

With music, good food, lovingly arranged decorations and a special atmosphere, the celebrations continued late into the evening. People laughed, danced and raised a toast together – to 75 years of Feuchtwangen 2, to their shared history and to everything that still lies ahead for the site.
