Sustainable performance as a competitive advantage: REHAU Window Solutions sets a new benchmark for energy-efficient front door systems and is the only manufacturer of a PVC entrance door to hold a Passive House Certificate issued by the Passive House Certificate Institute (PHI) Darmstadt for the REHAU ARTEVO front door.

The ARTEVO front door from REHAU Window Solutions has received the internationally recognised Passive House Certificate from the Passive House Institute (PHI) in Darmstadt. With this unique distinction within the PVC front door segment, REHAU Window Solutions sets a new standard for energy-efficient front door systems and once again confirms its position as an innovation leader.

Technological Excellence: LowE Meets RAU-FIPRO X

At the heart of the ARTEVO max front door lies the high-performance material RAU- FIPRO X, combined with integrated LowE technology. Together, these technologies achieve Ud values of up to 0.8 W/(m²K) – fully and demonstrably meeting the stringent requirements of the Passive House Institute for the climate zone “cool temperate Uw < 0.8 W/(m²K)”.

“The Passive House Certificate of the ARTEVO max front door is the result of consistent system development. The experts at REHAU Window Solutions have created a technological foundation – combining the high-performance material RAU-FIPRO X with integrated LowE technology – that meets the most demanding energy requirements whilst satisfying the design aspirations of contemporary architecture. This confirms our standing as an innovation driver within the industry and illustrates precisely what REHAU Window Solutions stands for: unrivalled innovation competence, coupled with a comprehensive range of options and opportunities as a leading All in One Partner.”

Certificate Presentation at Fensterbau Frontale 2026

The Passive House Certificate was presented at Fensterbau Frontale 2026 in Nuremberg by Johannes Seibert of the Passive House Institute Darmstadt to the REHAU Window Solutions team. The world’s most important trade fair for windows, doors, and facades provided the ideal setting for this milestone, and once again underscored the potential of the ARTEVO system solution.

Market Launch and Platform Strategy: ARTEVO Grows

The ARTEVO front door is scheduled for market launch in June 2026. In December 2026, the portfolio will be extended with a flush-glazed sash, opening up additional design and application possibilities. Together with the unified 80 mm system platform and targeted expansions within the sliding door segment, REHAU Window Solutions is establishing the foundation for economically viable, market-ready, and future-proof solutions across the entire value chain. REHAU Window Solutions is consistently advancing the ARTEVO platform: the planned ARTEVO lift-and-slide door will further extend the system family. A smart access solution developed in partnership with Nuki – Europe’s market leader in smart locking – demonstrates the additional potential of ARTEVO as an open, future-ready platform.

“The ARTEVO front door is the logical continuation of a platform strategy that empowers our partners to differentiate themselves in a competitive market. The Passive House Certificate offers a further argument that works immediately in sales conversations: demonstrable energy efficiency, validated by the internationally recognised PHI. For our customers and partners, this translates into tangible added value through lived sustainability.”
