The CRF Institute awards employers in Germany that are particularly attractive for the sought-after target group of engineers. Entrants are evaluated in the categories of career opportunities, primary benefits such as salary and retirement provisions, secondary benefits, such as holidays, work-life balance, training and development as well as innovation management. Only those who fulfil the strict criteria of the investigation are awarded the certification of "top employer" following a multi-stage questionnaire and audit process. REHAU was chosen as one of 26 companies and was pleased to receive the quality seal for the seventh time in a row.
Companies that participate in the Fair Company Initiative voluntarily undertake to observe various rules. For example, they do not fill any full time positions with students on work experience, pay adequate remuneration, make students on work experience aware of feedback options and do not lure interested parties in with the vague prospect of a full time position. The Fair Company Initiative is therefore a tried and tested compass for graduates when looking for fair working conditions; for companies it is an effective recruitment tool.
Since 2005 a study of 1000 students, graduates and employees starting out in their careers on the subject of attractive employers has been commissioned every year by Berufsstart.de. The participants evaluate, amongst other things, the image, the international nature, career opportunities and benefits of companies. In 2012 REHAU was placed 87th in the Top 100 employers in Germany.
