Renewable energy

Using natural resources

The finiteness of natural raw materials is foreseeable and is bringing about rapid increases in energy prices. The future belongs to renewable energy sources such as solar, geothermal and biomass.

Bio-energy town
REHAU provides pioneering solutions to help builders, architects, planners and communities make sensible and efficient use of naturally occurring resources. We examine all relevant data when selecting and implementing the ideal application for each specific requirement. For private residences, commercial spaces and public buildings, we provide system components that are complementary to each other and can be used to design tailor-made solutions that tap alternative energy sources.

Whether solar radiation, geothermal energy and ambient heat or co-generation for the simultaneous production of heat and electricity with biogas combustion – the possibilities that REHAU has to offer in the field of renewable energy are as diverse as they are innovative. We're intensively working on the next steps – such as expanding the infrastructure on the basis of renewable energies. Thermal activation of tunnel structures is a refinement of the use of geothermal energy and has a great deal of potential for use in urban settings, for example in subway tunnels. Efficient and environmentally friendly solutions like this pave the way to the future.

Renewable energy

Endlessly renewable

Using natural resources responsibly is one of the most important tasks for the sustainable development of our world. Whether wind power, geothermal energy, biomass or hydrogen: A wide range of product solutions from REHAU ensure that these renewable energy sources can be extracted in an environmentally sound way, used in a sustainable, efficient manner, distributed and safely and accessibly stored.
