REHAU Window Solutions continues its global growth strategy with great success

As a result, REHAU WS is able to cover the high demand while consistently and successfully implementing its global growth strategy. For example, in the growth market of Eastern Europe, REHAU WS is expanding production and delivery points in Poland. Additional investments in Romania and Russia are increasing value added in the region. The polymer specialist is also solidifying its presence in the UK in Blaenau.

REHAU WS is currently investing in the lucrative America sales market: The groundbreaking for a new plant in Argentina next to the capital city Buenos Aires on Friday 6 August 2021 was the first step towards permanently increasing value added in South America.

“After many years of successful market cultivation, we are now making further investments. These will be the cornerstone for the expansion of our exceptional competitive situation in South America. The plant will allow us to consciously move even closer to our customers in the region, develop our delivery capabilities and ensure the highest quality for our partners going forward,” says Carsten Heuer, Head of the Window Solutions Division. “By producing locally, we will be even better equipped to meet the regional customer requirements, with a significantly more distinct individuality in our products, for example. We are pursuing a very clearly defined growth trajectory for our company in South America,” explains Carsten Heuer.

The construction of the new plant in Argentina is a part of this expansion plan. “The continued growth in the market has been convincing and we would like to underline this with our investments. REHAU Window Solutions is strengthening its profile here for the next logical stage of growth in the market. This potential is one of the key pillars of the Window Solutions Division in South America. We will now be even better equipped to tap into this potential,” says Heuer.

The plant will measure at 10,000 square metres on a 53,000 square-metre plot, with construction set to be complete in the third quarter of 2022. Space for future expansions has already been planned. The investment for the project totals 13.6 million USD. “REHAU makes strategic decisions and thinks long-term. This new plant serves as an impressive confirmation of the amazing work of the team in the region and is a response to a lucrative sales market where outstanding solutions are in high demand,” explains Martin Mom, Director Sub-Region South America.

All of this will be the perfect foundation to ensure the company can continue to supply REHAU WS products in America in the future, demand for which has been increasing exponentially for many years now.
