Using advanced material expertise and strong production and process competence, REHAU creates robust yet lightweight moulding solutions for aircraft.
These include edge protection mouldings manufactured from polycarbonate, polyamide and polyurethane using an injection moulding procedure to protect sandwich components in the passenger compartment of the aircraft.
For applications involving mechanical loads, mouldings made of fibre-reinforced high-temperature thermoplastics are used.
