REHAU Launches Slim Shaker Doors

The elevated slim shaker you’ve been waiting for, now available in REHAU’s most sustainable surface lines.

09.29.2026

REHAU is expanding its cabinet door program with the introduction of slim shaker doors, bridging the minimalist look of slab doors with the timeless appeal of classic shaker doors. Joining the company’s existing portfolio of slab, 3‑piece and 5‑piece shaker doors, the slim shaker style gives designers and cabinet makers a refined door option that aligns with streamlined design trends in residential and commercial interiors.

The new doors are available in two of REHAU’s most sustainable surface lines: RAUVISIO ingrain™ wood fiber laminate surface and RAUVISIO shade™ super‑matte PET surface. RAUVISIO ingrain is crafted from eco‑forward wood fiber materials, while RAUVISIO shade incorporates a PET top layer made with up to 80% recycled content. Each surface reinforces REHAU’s commitment to environmentally conscious design.

The two surface lines offer a versatile color palette that complements a range of interiors from custom residential kitchens to boutique commercial spaces. Slim shaker doors are available in five realistic woodgrain colors from the RAUVISIO ingrain surface line, including Charred Ebony, Whispering Walnut, Honeycomb Oak, Sunlit Pine and Bourbon Teak. Additionally, they are available in three neutral matte colors from the RAUVISIO shade surface line: Chalk, Charcoal and Pewter.

Built with a focus on precise construction and clean lines, the 5-piece slim shaker door is constructed of a ¾ in thick center panel with a 4-piece mitered frame using wrapped profiles. The doors are offered in a wide range of sizes, enabling slim shaker styling across applications from base and wall cabinets to pantry and tall storage installations. The minimum size is 5 ½ in W x 5 ½ in H (139.7 mm W x 139.7 mm H) while the maximum is 30 in W x 85 in H (762 mm W x 2159 mm H).

“Slim shaker started as a trend, but it’s now a design essential,” said Jesse Collins, marketing and product director at REHAU. “The market has been asking for a thoughtfully elevated version, and we’re excited to bring one that goes beyond the typical painted or thermofoil construction. By combining our two most sustainable surface lines with meticulous 5‑piece craftsmanship, we’re giving designers and cabinet makers a slim shaker door that truly stands apart.”
