REHAU authorised partner elitetec achieves highest sans 613 pass level for upvc windows

REHAU Authorised Partner, Elitetec, recently had their uPVC windows tested for SANS 613 compliance. We are pleased to announce that Elitetec’s uPVC window achieved a level A3 certification.  This is the highest rating awarded for an uPVC window in South Africa. 

The SANS 613 test measures the window’s compliance to building regulations, specifically in regard to wind deflection, structural strength, water resistance and air tightness.  A compliance level of A3 illustrates that the manufacturer of the window has achieved:

• superior strength against wind pressure
• hiigh water resistance
• excellent air tightness
