uPVC Window Technology Seminar Pretoria University

uPVC Window Technology Seminar

Talking uPVC windows with the Engineering Built Environment Department.

31.10.2014

The REHAU commercial specification team, Tony O’Neill and Peter Graddon, recently presented a seminar on uPVC window technology at Pretoria University.  Students from the Department of Construction Economics (Construction Management, Quantity Surveying and Real Estate) attended the seminar and welcomed information on REHAU uPVC windows, which is a relatively new topic to South African building professions.

Riaan Jansen, of the University of Pretoria’s Engineering Built Environment and Information Technology Department, commented on the importance of students receiving exposure to innovative building materials during their studies, as they will have to implement and manage them.  He also noted that more must be done to ensure that the built environment professions take note of the new SANS code, but more importantly, that they also understand the benefits of alternative building technologies.

If you are interested in attending a free seminar on REHAU’s uPVC window and door systems, kindly contact us on 011 201 1300.
