REHAU Building Solutions Becomes One-Stop-Shop for Water Technologies

REHAU Building Solutions, a Subgroup of the REHAU Group with over 2,000 employees across EMEA, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific, has presented its strategy for profitable growth. The company is focusing on selected business areas and markets and positioning itself as a one-stop-shop for integrated systems for water infrastructure in and around buildings, as well as in municipal and utilitys networks, which are typically installed behind walls or underground. Going forward, REHAU will plan, develop, and implement system solutions for drinking water supply, heating and cooling, wastewater, and rainwater utilization – all from a single source.

Sustainable, cross-generational, and future-oriented solutions related to water play a key role in times of climate change and make an important contribution to efficient resource use. “Managing the flow of water best summarizes our new direction. Starting January 2026, we will therefore appear on the market as REHAU Water Technologies to demonstrate our focus,” explains CEO Rafael Daum.

The company will structure its portfolio into four business units: Infrastructure Solutions, offering solutions for water supply to entire urban areas or large facilities; Plumbing Solutions, providing installation systems for individual buildings; Thermal Flow Solutions, focusing on surface heating and cooling systems; and Modular Systems, delivering prefabricated sanitary installations.

“In addition to new market-driven system solutions, we rely on strong local sales. Market proximity and reliability are further key elements of our philosophy,” emphasizes Daum. In Europe, the company sees particular market potential in Germany, Austria, Italy, France, and other selected European markets. At the same time, the focus remains on profitable growth in Asia and the Americas.

“We are the reliable partner for installers, planners, investors, and wholesalers,” says Daum. “By 2028, we aim to become one of the top providers of Water Technologies. With our new sales structure, seven global production sites, a sophisticated supply chain network, and strong local partners, we will be even closer to our customers,” Daum affirms.
