The REHAU Group and Dr. Roger Schönborn, CEO of the Building Solutions subgroup, have agreed to end their cooperation with immediate effect. This decision was made in a constructive dialog and on the basis of differing views on the future strategic and operational direction of the division.
The Group expresses its gratitude to Dr. Schönborn for his unwavering commitment and valuable contribution to the development of Building Solutions over the past years. It wishes him all the best and every success in his future endeavors.

Rafael Daum
Dr. Nicholas John Matten, President of the Supervisory Board of Building Solutions, will assume responsibility for the role of CEO until June 30, 2025. The 63-year-old, who holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering, can look back on a long career with internationally renowned companies in the energy and building technology sector such as Hansgrohe and Stiebel Eltron.
On July 1, 2025, Rafael Daum will take over the operational management of Building Solutions as CEO. During this time, he will also remain a member of the REHAU Building Solutions Supervisory Board. The 52-year-old lawyer has worked internationally for the polymer specialist since 2001 in various roles, including in Austria, Switzerland and Russia. Most recently, he was CEO of the Asia & Pacific region and lived in Singapore.
