Clever expansion of the system portfolio
Alongside proven window profile systems like SYNEGO and GENEO, which is made from the next-generation material RAU-FIPRO X, REHAU will be showcasing a new sliding system at the SYNEGO platform. These advances focus on user-friendliness, design and rational processing. REHAU is also reacting to another current industry trend with its own safety barrier, SKYFORCE. This system component, which will be available from 2020, features a closed evidence chain and brings minimalist glazed safety barriers to all REHAU product lines. The display will also include a wide range of new international systems, including SYNEGO NL, Delight, and Prestige Design, all custom-designed to the needs of their respective markets.
Smart systems and digitalisation with added value
At the last Fensterbau Frontale, REHAU was the first window systems provider to prove that windows can also be smart. The company continued to pursue this course and tapped into new application areas for smart solutions, allowing customers to open up new unique selling points for windows. The enhancements to the existing safety solution Smart Guard are driven by internationalisation and are enabling new options in terms of connectivity. REHAU will also be showing how other smart components can operate interactively with its solutions, such as the coupling of smart handles with the Smart Guard, which improves burglary protection thanks to automatic locking.
Digitalisation is one of the key issues in the industry. However, the question many are asking is: What are the concrete solutions that bring added value to the real world and that can address the existing challenges in the industry? REHAU thinks about digitalisation from its customers’ point of view. This perspective has resulted in solutions that will be unveiled at the trade fair for the first time. They simplify sales for partners and support them in coordination processes. In an absolute industry first, one highlight will at the Fensterbau Frontale will be a digital response to the skill shortages, or in this case, the demand for staff skilled in the assembly of windows and doors.
The design range KALEIDO COLOR allows rooms and windows be designed individually. At the Fensterbau Frontale, REHAU will be showcasing its versatile range of colour and surface-finish options. A range of paint finishes, film coatings and aluminium facings offer numerous possibilities for attractive window design. Sustainability consistently implemented
The public is clearly engaged with sustainability, a concept that has been firmly anchored in REHAU’s mindset for over 30 years. The company manufactures its window profiles using old recycled PVC window material in a closed materials cycle. The sustainable window profiles, containing at least 40 percent recycled materials, are marketed under REHAU’s new EcoPuls label and provide partners with exactly the right arguments they need for selling sustainable windows.
REHAU EcoPuls windows save much greater quantities of CO2 during production than traditional windows, as manufacturing recycled material generates 90 percent fewer emissions. In addition, EcoPuls windows are highly energy efficient in operation, keeping energy losses low.
