The construction industry as one of the biggest branches, bears a lot of potential for digital solutions and is expected to undergo many changes. The polymer specialist REHAU and the Danish start-up GenieBelt have established a partnership to solve today’s biggest challenges in the construction industry: money and time.

Every main contractor faces similar challenges when managing construction sites: They have to make sure that they stay on budget and finish the project on time while managing approximately 20 sub-contractors at the same time. Until now, they spend a lot of effort trying to reach and asking each one of them for an update on the latest status which takes a lot of time and costs a lot of money. In order to provide a solution for this problem,

GenieBelt and UNLIMITED X, the innovation lab of the REHAU Group, have established a cooperation. Together they will offer the REHAU project portal, a tool allowing to monitor the status of a construction in real-time and to communicate with all the subcontractors and stakeholders with one click from any device.

The Danish start-up GenieBelt that has the vision to transform the construction industry, expects this cooperation to be very successful: “We have the innovative real-time project management software, REHAU has a lot of know-how and experience in the construction industry. Together we will be able to offer a huge benefit for the construction industry. Both companies want to set a new market standard for communication and collaboration on construction projects”, GenieBelt CEO Ulrik Branner comments. For REHAU this cooperation is a possibility to offer a new digital product to its customers: “It is our mission to fascinate our customers through new digital solutions. Together with GenieBelt we have adapted the software to perfectly suit our customers’ and the market’s needs and to offer additional value to our existing products. We are happy to work with GenieBelt to transform the construction industry”, Stefan Thomas, CDO REHAU and Managing Director UNLIMITED X, stated.

Interested parties will have a chance to try out the REHAU project portal on August 30th from 6-9pm at the event “mastering the art of digital construction” in the construction building, 26 Store St, London.
