EPPA: Carsten Heuer hands over presidency to Alexander Franke in rotation
At the end of his one-year term of office, he handed over the reins to his successor Alexander Franke. This was recently confirmed by the association at this year's general meeting in Warsaw (Poland).
"During the past twelve months, EPPA has been able to provide decisive impetus for the continued successful future of European manufacturers of PVC window systems. The work of the trade association has recently been strongly characterised by intensive dialogue with European decision-makers and has thus been able to impressively underline the importance of PVC windows as an example of sustainable building products. In particular, the team around EPPA Managing Director Charlotte Röber has achieved outstanding successes. Many thanks for that. Thanks also go to the previous deputy Alexander Frank, who now takes over the chairmanship. I wish him and his current deputy Götz Schmiedeknecht every success," Heuer said.
At the General Assembly in Warsaw, EPPA also announced the establishment of two national branches: EPPA Polska and EPPA Germany (formerly Quality Association for Plastic Products). The platforms will pool and promote the interests of the PVC profile systems industry and strengthen cooperation in their respective regions.

The European manufacturers of plastic window systems are already demonstrating a blueprint for circular economy and are thus successfully implementing a contribution to the implementation of the EU Green Deal.
