Cape Milner Hotel replaces aluminium windows with uPVC to reduce noise.

New Look Window Systems, a REHAU Authorised Partner based in Cape Town, has completed the second part of a large renovation for the Cape Milner Hotel in Tamboerskloof. The Cape Milner Hotel is situated in a bustling part of Cape Town and approached New Look Window Systems to replace their old windows with modern, noise-reducing Tilt and Turn windows that are durable, low-maintenance and energy efficient.

The Hotel initially asked NLWS to install uPVC windows in two rooms to test the noise reduction levels. The result was so convincing, that the Hotel decided to replace all the existing aluminium windows for the entire hotel with double-glazed uPVC windows and doors. The double-glazed units consist of 6.76mm acoustic laminate and 4mm toughened glass.

New Look Window Systems receives a lot of word-by-mouth referrals due to their excellent workmanship and quality installations, as shown by the fact that the Cape Milner Hotel has awarded them this ongoing project.
