REHAU Ecotec Profile Chosen for Landmark Fire & Ice Hotel Refurbishment

REHAU’s Ecotec uPVC window profile has been specified for the refurbishment of the 201-room Fire & Ice Hotel in Cape Town—marking another milestone collaboration with Platinum Hospitality Holdings.

This decision follows the successful implementation of REHAU profiles at the Protea Hotel Sea Point, where performance criteria such as acoustic insulation and thermal regulation were critical to the design brief. The sleek, high-performing REHAU system met these stringent requirements, making it the natural choice for the Fire & Ice Hotel, which presented similar environmental and performance challenges.

Platinum Hospitality Holdings once again partnered with New Look Windows, a REHAU Gold Certified fabricator, to ensure precision fabrication and installation that aligns with the project's architectural intent.
