REHAU receives BUILDINGS 2019 money-saving products award

System 4500 windows and doors among three products highlighted with Editor's Choice designation.

REHAU System 4500 window and door line was among the winners in BUILDINGS 2019 money-saving products awards. The publication's editorial staff selected 65 winners, including 11 in the envelope and roofing category, based on relevance to commercial building management and potential for cost savings.

The REHAU line was also among three products selected for the special designation of Editor's Choice because they "clearly laid out how they save money for users," according to the editors.

Compression-seal technology, multi-point locking hardware and a glazing capacity of up to 1 3/8 in (35 mm) create a highly durable barrier against the exterior environment. The system insulates occupants from outdoor drafts and noise with a simulated U-value down to 0.17 and an acoustical rating up to STC 43/OITC 34. With a structural NAFS rating up to AW-PG100 and an impact rating up to DP65, the versatile uPVC system is offered in tilt-turn, awning, hopper and fixed windows as well as matching doors.
