Power rail supports for underground and suburban railways

A firm support for decades

REHAU power rail supports, made from glass fibre-reinforced thermoset, have been used successfully and reliably for more than 35 years in the underground rail system in Munich and other cities since then. Like all REHAU systems for traction current supply, our power rail supports are also suitable for tunnels and outdoor use in ‘third rail’ applications – even under challenging climatic conditions.

Our easy-to-install and low-maintenance power rail supports boast a range of advantages in terms of handling and safety, including their robustness, break resistance and impact resistance. At the same time, they offer significantly better electrical properties compared to steel supports.

Integrated sliding elements ensure optimal sliding of the power rail through the support.
