Your future tasks:

  • Maintain and build on current relationships with plumbing installers, builders, specifiers and engineers as well as develop new contacts in relevant areas
     
  • Identify projects and together with the Regional Sales Manager develop strategies in WA to win business for REHAU
     
  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met by REHAU and our exclusive distributor
     
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributor branch managers, 2IC’s and counter staff as well as deliver training presentations to staff
     
  • Conduct product events, tool demonstrations, tool box meetings and training seminars with installers
     
  • Maintain activity records and reports on all phases of field activities as required via Salesforce.com
     
  • Monitor competitor activity and report significant developments to the Regional Sales Manager
     
  • Ensure that complaints are followed up and that satisfactory solutions are obtained for both the customer and REHAU
     
  • In conjunction with local key distributors develop a key target list to undertake joint business development calls to convert new business as well as cold calling construction and residential sites to present REHAU products

What we look for:

  • You are a technically minded individual who has a minimum of 5 years sales experience in a mid to large size firm and an understanding of plumbing, civil or a similar construction market.
  • Your core competencies will include excellent interpersonal skills and technical aptitude. We need you to show a great deal of independence and flexibility, ability to problem solve as well as a welcoming attitude towards customers and business partners.
