REHAU celebrates another milestone with the official opening of the REHAU Malaysia Showroom on 16th June 2016 at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
The event was officially launched at One World Hotel, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia with the presence of the Malaysian Minister of International Trade and Industry Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Ong Ka Chuan. He affirmed that German companies such as REHAU are welcome in Malaysia to prosper and build an ecosystem; and it is important for Malaysians to learn from German technologies.
REHAU has been present in Malaysia for over 15 years with the support and operations from Singapore Sales Office. Establishing impressive project references such as a highway from Singapore to JB Malaysia with geo-grids, water treatment plants, 5 star hotels and have been a long term partner of OEM industries supplying smart systems enabling energy savings in commercial appliances.
To quote Mr Damian Kirby, REHAU Asia Pacific CEO “After all, the strength of REHAU’s expertise is multiplied when we are close to the industry and delivering customized needs instead of simply importing ideas and technologies from Europe. Thus, our new office in Malaysia is indicative of our commitment and dedication to not only better serve our existing Malaysian business and industry partners, but we also hope to build new long term relationships with many new companies here as well.”
The event was continued with the official ribbon cutting at the REHAU Malaysia Office and Showroom at Petaling Jaya. It was followed by a showroom tour showing REHAU product offerings in the market from Building Solutions such as plumbing, wastewater treatment; Furniture Solutions with surface and systems solutions; Industrial Solutions with the 3rd rail product and commercial appliances.
Over 60 REHAU key customers and partners showed support and joined in celebrating this great milestone of REHAU which made the event more meaningful.
