Your future tasks:

  • Develop, maintain and build on current relationships with existing hydraulic, mechanical and acoustic engineers, builders and all plumbers
  • Deliver distributor training presentations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distributor branch managers, 2IC’s and counter staff
  • Conduct product events, tool demonstrations, tool box meetings and training seminars with installers
  • Maintain activity records and reports on all phases of field activities as required via Salesforce.com
  • Monitor competitor activity and report significant developments to the NSM Building Solutions
  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met by REHAU and our exclusive distributor
  • Maintain current knowledge on products, competitive products and other general market information of interest or value to customers
  • Ensure that complaints are followed up and that satisfactory solutions are obtained for both the customer and REHAU
  • Grow the active monthly accounts (AMA’s) by increasing the customer base
  • Cold calling construction and residential sites to present REHAU products

What we look for:

  • We are looking for a technically minded individual who has a minimum of 5 years sales experience in a mid to large size firm and possibly an understanding of plumbing or a similar construction market
  • Your core competencies will include excellent customer interface and interpersonal skills and technical aptitude.  Also a requirement is good team building and organization skills, solid business acumen, ability to problem solve, a welcoming attitude towards customers plus strong communication ability
