MEPA is a medium-sized sanitary technology company that has been owner-managed for 60 years. Founded in 1963 by Leo Menden and Willi Pauli, it grew from a small workshop into a modern industrial manufacturer through continuous innovation.Since 2023, MEPA has been part of REHAU Building Solutions Global, continuing to operate as a family-run business with locations in Rheinbreitbach and Pegau near Leipzig. MEPA develops and markets systems for soundproof, watertight installation of bathtubs and shower trays, prewall systems for dry and wet wall construction, and sanitary electronics for washbasins, toilets, and urinals.

In cooperation with REHAU, MEPA now offers coordinated system solutions, true to the slogan powered by REHAU.

Since 2012, MEPA has also specialized in self-adhesive “peel and stick” bathroom waterproofing, providing durable, mold-resistant sealing solutions through innovative technologies and premium materials.
