Optimal conditions for desk sharing

In 2013, the new Vodafone corporate headquarters, which were awarded the LEED Gold, was opened in Düsseldorf-Heerdt. High energy efficiency, the newest media technology and an open workplace concept make the building a showcase project in terms of office construction.

The communication company assumes a pioneering role when it comes to the working models as well: Equipped with mobile hardware, the approximately 5,000 employees have the option to work from home up to 50% of the time. As a consequence, there are no longer any fixed workplaces on the Vodafone Campus. Here, desk sharing is an organisational principle and even the CEO works in the open-plan office.

Our services

Effective soundproofing is of special significance under these conditions. The planners chose our RAUVOLET acoustic-line tambour door system. The sound-absorbent system gives employees the peace and quiet they need to work effectively.

Good reasons to opt for our tambour door system

  • Our patented RAUVOLET acoustic-line tambour door system functions as a highly effective broadband absorber, as, uniquely in its class, it absorbs sound linearly throughout the entire frequency range.
  • Sound absorption class B (αw = 0.8)
