Snow and ice stopping play represents a significant financial risk to the operation of a sports ground. Pitch heating keeps the soil from freezing, protects the grass and prevents snow from settling.

For grass pitches, REHAU pitch heating systems provide heat deep beneath the roots and utilise a control system that monitors the temperature at the roots of the grass, to ensure that the temperature stays in a range that will not harm the grass roots.
