“A strong woman knows she has strength enough for the journey, but a woman of strength knows it is in the journey where she will become strong.”
We at REHAU India celebrated International Women’s Day, to honor women’s achievements, spotlight their visibility and advocate for them in an inclusive world. It was a day full of reflecting, sharing ideas and engaging in exciting activities to appreciate and celebrate the women in our lives. With following activities one after another, starting with Postcard Writing. We started a sentimental project where we addressed postcards to the most important women in our lives—those who have inspired us, mentored us, or improved our lot in life.
Taking a moment to recognize the amazing women in our life at the beginning of the day. Their influence was immense, regardless of whether they were coworkers, friends, family, or mentors, and it was time to let them know!

It was a simple yet powerful way to acknowledge the positive influence these incredible ladies have had on us. Additionally, it was a very kind gesture that made them feel better. Sharing the story was the next step after the initial one.
Our esteemed HR Head Ashima Deepak Kaul had an incredible virtual discussion called Story Line with the women of REHAU India. Everyone talked about their experiences, triumphs, fears, life lessons learned, and everything in between during the discussion. The training was well received and provided the attendees with a newfound drive to achieve their objectives and become unstoppable.

Our next task was to impart to our female coworkers a self-defense method after Story Line. There are many ways to empower people, and in order to empower the women at REHAU, a session on self-defense specifically for them was arranged. It was a step toward self-reliance, confidence, and independence. Workers at REHAU were urged to extend an invitation to every woman in their lives to attend the session and take advantage of the offerings.
The strength of awareness lies in its simplicity. It dissuades illegal activity, enables you to anticipate threats, and provides your intuition with the data it needs to keep you safe. During an hour-long live session, Ms. Rupali and her two commandos exhibited numerous self-defense methods and stunts. The audience learned how to defend themselves from predators in real-world situations by using commonplace objects that may also be used as lethal weapons.

Lastly, a special lunch was organized at all REHAU India offices to celebrate Women's Day and recognize the achievements made by the female personnel. The ladies, who were dressed elegantly in purple, a hue that combines the manly blue and the feminine pink, relished lunch together and exchanged personal tales of shattering preconceptions, upending conventions, and honoring womanhood.
Savoring the day with a delicious lunch date with our fellow female colleagues
