RAUPEX SPEED Radiant System
Easy to install, no special tools required.
RAUPEX® SPEED is used in floors to efficiently and evenly distribute heat/cold into the room. This hook-and-loop system can be installed on a concrete slab-on-grade, suspended slab or thin slab overpour. RAUPEX O2 Barrier pipe attaches to the mat or iBoard with no drilling or anchoring required, the pipe layout is easy to adjust and no special tools are required.
RAUPEX SPEED pipe
Designed specifically to firmly grip the RAUPEX SPEED mat or iBoard, RAUPEX SPEED pipe is an 1/2 in. O2 barrier pipe with a hook-and-loop wrap. RAUPEX O2 barrier pipe provides an extra layer of protection with its co-extruded ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVOH) oxygen diffusion barrier, which limits oxygen permeability. This durable yet flexible PEXa pipe offers enhanced temperature/pressure capabilities and long-term strength. RAUPEX SPEED pipe is available in 300 or 1,000 ft coils.
RAUPEX SPEED mat
The RAUPEX SPEED mat has a self-adhesive backing which allows it to be installed on different thermal insulation, concrete and plywood surfaces. The "loop" part of the "hook-and-loop system" on the mat’s surface and the "hook" material on the RAUPEX SPEED O2 barrier pipe fasten together instantly. A grid pattern on the mat enables fast and accurate pipe layout. Measures 3.1 ft (0.93 m) wide by 52.9 ft (16.13 m) long; 3 mm thick.
RAUPEX SPEED iBoard
RAUPEX SPEED iBoard combines an expanded polystyrene board with the hook-and-loop fastening system for radiant overpour applications. The hook-and-loop tape on the RAUPEX SPEED pipe fastens to the loop surface of the iBoard. The imprinted grid pattern on the iBoard enables fast and accurate pipe layout. Available in 4 ft x 8 ft sheets, iBoard R5 brings an R-value of 5, while iBoard R10 provides an R-value of 10.
The horizontal uncoiler dispenses pipe coils of up to 1,000 ft. without twists or kinks.
The door spreader mounts above the floor in the wall opening between the uncoiler and the installation area to guide pipe using an open ring.
