LEESBURG, Va., January 21, 2013 – REHAU announces its receipt of a 2012 WebAward from the Web Marketing Association, recognizing the company’s “Manufacturing Standard of Excellence” in the redesign of its worldwide website platform. Dedicated to naming the best websites across 96 industries, the WebAward competition’s professional judging panel assesses sites against seven standards of excellence – design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use.
In addition, REHAU received a 2012 W3 Silver Award in the “Manufacturing” category from the International Academy of Visual Arts, an invitation-only body of top-tier professionals from media, interactive, advertising and marketing firms. The award honors creative excellence on the Web and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning sites, marketing programs and video work created for the Web.

The new site, which initially launched in 2011 and was rolled out in all regions throughout 2012, features a Resource Center that enables easy downloading of all REHAU literature, and offers the ability to browse larger catalogs in a convenient eBook format. The Resource Center, which includes materials from across REHAU’s automotive, construction and industry business divisions, can be accessed from any page on the site.
A simplified and intuitive navigation structure with enhanced search options allows for the quick location of products, systems and reference project s. Visitors to the site may search by name, category or product article number to generate a variety of search results, including pertinent catalog pages, product submittals and technical bulletins. In addition, a new Toolbox feature located on each page of the site includes a product finder and quick links to jobs, construction services, contact information and other helpful content.

The new site also includes an area dedicated to REHAU Academy, which offers more than 50 types of professional development seminars providing crucial product information and relevant industry experience. Visitors to this area can download the complete REHAU Academy Seminar Planner as well as individual seminar flyers, and can enroll in open seminars via an online registration form.
Additional features include construction product and system design request forms, a furniture group edgeband color search, and a “Where to Buy” tool for locating the nearest REHAU product supplier by city or zip code. All content pages on the site can also be shared on Facebook, Twitter, Delicious and by email via an integrated social media sharing tool.
