Honesty, integrity and the ability to offer support on a consistent basis are the core characteristics of James Mullady’s relationships with customers. As the vice president of Building Solutions sales across the US and Canada, he is passionate about building strong relationships with customers face-to-face and helping them grow a successful business through product and technical support. “Once you come into the REHAU family, you’ll be here for life,” James says.
Several of James’ customers have been with him since he began his career at REHAU 23 years ago, becoming long-term business partners and friends. “Goodin has carried REHAU products for more than 30 years. We have a good partnership where we trust each other,” says Steve Kelly, president at Goodin Company. “I’ve had a great relationship with James Mullady since day one. Over the years, REHAU has proved that they have good products, and James has never let us down. He’s always there when we need him; he’s a good partner.”
To maintain trusted partnerships with his customers, James steps up when challenges arise in projects. “One time we had a high-profile project with a tight deadline. We had to develop a plan with the customer and installer to make sure our product was delivered and installed on time,” James explains. “There was an error involving a piece of pipe that was cut that shouldn’t have been, which would have delayed the project. We communicated as rapidly as we could and got a repair coupling on the jobsite at 2 a.m. It was a huge team effort, but we kept the project on-track.”
While James is known for being there for his customers, he is also known for being a hands-on dad who cheers on his daughters at soccer games and gymnastics meets. In the summer, James enjoys visiting a lake in northern Minnesota with this family where they jet-ski, fish and soak up quality time together.
