REHAU announces System 2150 sliding patio door

New uPVC door offers smooth operation, high thermal efficiency and light commercial rating

REHAU announces the availability of its System 2150 sliding patio door, with exceptional operation and thermal efficiency for new construction and replacement in residential and light commercial projects.

The new REHAU System 2150 door has a structural NAFS rating up to LC-PG45 and is designed to achieve an impact rating up to DP50 at 96 x 96 in (2.5 x 2.5 m), making it capable of filling larger openings compared to a typical builder-grade residential door. A 1 1/4 in (32 mm) glazing channel accommodates triple glazing to increase both energy efficiency and acoustical properties.

Offered in a depth of 4 9/16 in (116 mm), the multi-chambered frame accommodates engineered aluminum reinforcements and, in combination with internal sill drainage system, provides superior resistance to water leakage. The uPVC material with welded frame and sash corners contribute to a simulated U-value down to 0.20 that enhances the comfort of occupants. The system’s interlocking sash with dual weatherstripping enhances structural durability and resistance to air infiltration.

The System 2150 door allows for the creation of X-O, O-X, O-X-O and O-XX-O configurations as well as multiple combinations of operating units with fixed lites. The frame is also offered with an optional integral J-channel frame for new construction. Accessory grooves on the frame accept installation profiles such as jamb extensions and drywall returns. A wide range of single and multi-point locks and trimsets can be used in the system.

The REHAU System 2150 door is available in white, beige or clay PVC and can be laminated with solid color or wood-grain foils.
