REHAU announces the expansion of their EVERLOC+® compression-sleeve fitting system with nine new polymer multi-port tee options. The additional EVERLOC+ multi-port tees include closed-end, flow-through and opposing port configurations. The increased range of 22 polymer multi-port tees provides more tailored options and extends the benefits of EVERLOC+ further into multifamily and other light commercial plumbing projects.
The new EVERLOC+ polymer multi-port tees function as reducing tees in home-run piping layouts, while minimizing the number of connection points. Designed for use with RAUPEX® crosslinked polyethylene (PEXa) pipe and EVERLOC+ PEXa compression sleeves, the multi-port tees exhibit the well-known advantages of the reliable EVERLOC+ fitting system. Each connection contains multiple sealing edges to provide enhanced security, while the textured interior of the PEXa compression sleeve offers an extreme grip and immediate seal. Connections are made quickly using a consistent, two-step expansion and compression process with battery-powered EVERLOC+ compression-sleeve tools. Completed EVERLOC+ connections are immediately secure and ready for pressure testing, streamling installations while reinforcing system reliability.
“Contractors who have used our proprietary fitting system know that the EVERLOC+ technology creates quick, reliable connections,” says Simon Koenig, director of plumbing and infrastructure at REHAU North America. “Expanding our trusted EVERLOC+ system with additional polymer multi-port tee configurations provides contractors with more options to create secure connections in a range of plumbing applications.”
The REHAU EVERLOC+ system includes polymer and lead-free brass fittings, PEXa sleeves and battery-powered tools. EVERLOC+ is specifically designed for use with RAUPEX pipe, known and trusted by installers around the world. Both the fittings and the pipe are backed by a 25-year limited warranty.
