REHAU introduces hardware line in North America

New European-made hardware line adds elegance and longevity to tilt-turn, turn and hopper windows as well as balcony doors

REHAU launches its new REHAU Attivo^TM hardware program which includes the European-made Kovinoplastika Lož Hardware ARXspin line throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. This window and door hardware range, manufactured using the ARXCoat hot-dip galvanizing process, adds elegance and longevity to tilt-turn, turn and hopper windows as well as balcony doors.

The Hardware ARXspin line for PVC profiles is known throughout Europe for its distinctive quality at a competitive price. The product range being offered in North America through the new REHAU Attivo hardware program includes REHAU branded components for window and balcony door configurations that can support up to 287 lb (130 kg) sash weight and up to 94.5 in (2400 mm) sash height. Options for rollers and locking cams provide different levels of security as required by individual customers. Handles and cover caps are available in up to eight standard colors.

The REHAU Attivo hardware range addresses the North American market priorities of durability, security and ease of operation. The current selection of tilt-turn style hardware offers superior surface protection, which exceeds Grade 5 of BS EN1670 (480 hours exposure to salt spray), assuring high corrosion resistance in severe conditions. A built-in R-cam feature allows the installer or owner to optimize the window compression by +/-1.2 mm, improving the sealing properties while maintaining smooth operation with minimal force. Where wall conditions permit, the full-range hinge provides 180-degree opening for maximum egress functionality. A night vent feature sets the window handle at a 45-degree angle to allow gentle circulation of air in hot weather.

The REHAU Attivo hardware program is manufactured using a quality management system that has been certified to the latest version of ISO 9001 and is supported by a 10-year limited warranty.
